the master of space-age design and the man credited with bringing the high fashion market to japan, pierre cardin staged his spring/summer 08 runway show in the middle of the mingsha mountain desert in the gansu province of northwest china. 200 dresses were shown but somehow the media was accidentally skipped on the invitation list....hmmmm.






















cardin is best known for his avant garde dresses from the sixties as well as his success in the areas of furniture and product design.
