i've always had an amazing amount of respect for the house of prada. even if their collections don't necessarily appeal to my taste, i can never deny the fact that they are always fresh and innovative. whether it's design or materials or construction, miuccia has one eye tunnel visioned on the future while never forgetting to pay homage to the history her family built.


trembled blossoms is a video commissioned by the house as something between an animated look lookbook and a beautiful commentary on environmental awareness. directed by james lima with music by cocorosie, the short film is yet another way prada is setting itself apart from other luxury fashion brands.






along with the film, prada also released a "fantasy lookbook" combining environmental and urban elements beautifully integrated with the house's spring/summer 08 collection.
